Adopting the Pearson Edexcel curriculum here at the Integrated International School, our tailored in-house modules cover fundamental subjects that provide our students with an all-rounded education. Transferable skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, inquisitivity, leadership and collaboration are developed through classes and through play sessions. A unique subject called ‘Topic of Inquiry’ also delves deeper into topics that are not usually covered in class, to peak our students’ learning interests and for them to enjoy the essence of learning.
At the Integrated International School, we also believe that internationally-recognised academic assessments are valuable checkpoints to gauge our students’ learning progress. As our students are gradually exposed to higher-level subject matters, they will undergo internal examinations at Grade 3, 5 and 8. These internal assessments prepare our students to take on external, certified Pearson Edexcel examinations at Grades 6 and 9. The learning doesn’t stop here, however.
IGCSEs (Two-year programme for Grade 10-11 students)
Student-centred and well-balanced, the British curriculum offers both breadth and depth in every subject matter in preparation for their IGCSEs. The IGCSEs are globally recognised international academic qualifications for our Grade 10 and 11 students. The Pearson Edexcel IGCSE curriculum offers a flexible course of study, as students have the freedom to choose from different subjects in addition to the two compulsory subjects of English and Mathematics. This allows our students to tailor their studies to their interests and strengths. The curriculum also developed to encourage students to think critically and acquire problem-solving skills while simultaneously broadening their subject knowledge.
Our IGCSE curriculum is taught by experienced and qualified teachers who are trained in recognising the needs of individual learners and adapting lesson content and delivery to meet these needs. We use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that all students can access the material, make progress in their learning and reach their full potential. Cambridge AS & A Levels (Two-year programme for Grade 12-13 students)
